GUSANO ROJO

It is still one of the top-selling Mezcal’s in Mexico and was selling very well here in the states before they pulled out of the market a number of years ago. It was being sold in the major chains and Independents across the country for decades and many people consider this as the beginning of the category. The name "Gusano Rojo" comes from the worm that grows in the same agave.
